Denver Housing Authority’s Quigg Newton Homes in northwest Denver comprises 380 units of below market housing. Over several years, four primary children’s playgrounds deteriorated until they had to be fully removed. RNN Architects Inc. prepared construction and installation documents for replacement with current equipment provided by local manufacturer’s representatives. The design included both rubberized safety surfacing and engineered wood fiber surfacing according to the activity and intensity of use.
