The Emily Griffith Technical College (EGC) vision was to modernize, expand and relocate their Salon and Barbershop education programs. RNN Architects Inc. worked closely with the Emily Griffith staff to program, design and prepare documents for construction, as well as the construction administration process. We strategically integrated EGC branding into the new designs, a critical element to attract clientele, for a hands-on training program for students. This newly renovated facility has improved functionality, workflow, aesthetics, accessibility, and program awareness. Low consumption fixtures and luminaires, International Energy Compliance Code (IECC) were incorporated in the design.
